Working in partnership with a local media company, I was hired to handle the graphic elements and maintain the current brand setup for Alba Power, a hugely successful, award winning power turbine repair and support service. They are the leading global independent within their field and the brief was to reflect this within their marketing materials. We received their current logo setup and brand guidelines which had been in place for several years and were in need of a slight refresh. The original logo contained some gradient elements and the icon was a very basic interpretation of a turbine engine.
The plan was to refine the logo shape slightly to give a more dynamic feel and also bring back a solid shape with no gradients to future-proof the logo and open up more print finish possibilities. The client was delighted with the updated logo and colour palette and we were given the go ahead to provide a full re-brand, this included brand guidelines, full site signage, stationery, marketing leaflets, exhibition stands, branded promo materials and refreshed workwear for all staff.
